All's quiet: what a change!

It's 9am and I'm the only one up. No one is waiting for breakfast and I have no urgent plans. What a change! Life is going to be more and more like this as my 9 kids get older and out.
However, just a few days ago, my daughter Liz and son-in-law Stu were here with their Baker Family band. (That's 5). We (6 of us) heard them play in Dallas. We also celebrated at Gramma's on Sunday my med school son John's 25th birthday with 4 of the relatives from The Woodlands and all the Dallas siblings. (We had 21 there, I believe) The previous Sunday, we celebrated David's graduation from high school (Grammy came in from Chicago; 20 or so relatives and friends also came). On Memorial Day, 10 of us and the band, went to the Loyd Lake in Grand Prairie and relaxed. And (and I'm not complaining, really I'm not) I prepared food for several of these events and other meals! The quiet is nice now; I can reflect and regroup. But to tell you the truth, I enjoy very much when the family all gets together.
